Default electronic problem ASAP HELP!!!

I was installing a cd player and forgot to cap an extra 12v constant that came on the harness. Well it slapped against the metal chasis inside the cd player opening and sparked and after this my lights in the car went out. I checked the fuse box and no fuses are blown, I checked the relay box under the hood, no blown fuses. My interior lights won't come on, my keyless entry doesn't work, my cd player won't turn on, and my power mirrors won't operate. Does ANYONE have ANY clue what the problem is? I don't think the wire is fried because it has power at the fuse box, the wire that run from the fuse box to the cd player, fuse box to interior lights, and fuse box to mirrors, has power. Does anyone know if there is a fuse somewhere else or a circuit breaker or something I can trip? PLEASE respond ASAP

or pull the power off for 5 mins and let the pcm reset, thats just a dumb idea tho.

Sure sounds like a fuse or relay to me. Sometimes it's not easy to see the burnt out fuse. The owners manual will tell you which fuses to look for and as GTcamster said, replace the effected fuse anyway because I've seen them burn out near the edge rather than the middle.

I found it, it was the crappy little plastic lift fuse under the hood. Fuse #18.

Hi ptcruzin42,

Did you get your GT at Rick Keffer in Yulee? I am up here in Brunswick, GA; and bought down in Florida to get the GAP insurance.

I have to take my 5 speed back there next week for the Clutch Recall. They said to leave it overnight, because it is the "first one that they have had in for the recall", and it may take some extra time.

So, if you know anyone with 5 speed that will need the recall in that area, I am playing Capt'n Kirk on this one: "Going where no man has ever gone before".

To say the least, I am a little concerned. Have you had any experiences with their Service Department?

I will get my first oil change at the same time, and make the switch to synthetic oil. I think they use Mobil1.

I've left my car with them before. They have an extremely friendly service dept. Try to deal with a heavy set fellow named David. Good luck.
