Default Oil in air filter

I have a "03 Turbo and just got it 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if oil in the bottom of the air filter container was normal. Thanks Mike

Just clean it out from time to time for appearance and you are good to go.

The PCV system vents into the air cleaner. Especially on boosted cars, a bit of oil collects after time. Very normal, but if the car was purchased from a dealer, somehing that should have been cleaned during the prep process. Keep an eye on it, and find other turbo owners locally to compare. A worn engine will blow much more oil out. This is not to scare you, just inform.

Very normal. I clean out the oil every 3-6K miles.

Thanks guys! I thought so, but not ever having a Turbo I wasn't sure. The oil is very clean so I thought it was OK. Again, thanks. Mike

Normal. If it bothers you, you can install a "Catch Can" - it collects the oil before air intake - use "search" and type in "catch Can".
