Is it easy to install? Can a non-mechanic do it? Anything tricky to look out for?

Oh, and how does it affect the sound? Is it loud and annoying or does it sound cool?

Sorry for all of the questions. Again, Newbie.
Very easy to install. Plain screwdriver is all you need. Some require you to move the air intake sensor, and you have to be careful not to break it.

It gives a definite roar when you get on the throttle, but definitely cool, not ricer.

dont buy the 10 dollar ones on ebay. They can actually decrease horsepower. Get the k&n fipk or airaid. Both come with a heat shield.
