After Market Horn

[:I]I would like to replace the existing horn on my 02 PT with a louder horn( maybe aah--oogah horn) or horns but I want to be able to use the existing wiring and mounting. It seems that I saw a thread somewhere about this but can't remember where. Has anyone done this and if so could you give me some suggestions/recommendations?

Well, Aoogah horn I have I got from AutoZone - was only $30, and works fine - I didn't put it original location and wired it separately.

Isn't there an electronic horn out there that you can program to play different tunes? Or you can make up your own tune, like Imperial March, or Green Sleeves? [:I]

As for the oogah horn. quicksilverdon where did you mount yours? I just got mine & i'm not sure of a good spot for it. I was thinking upfront in the grill. But the elements, especially rain will destroy it quickly.

I mounted it to the vertical bar in front of the radiator. It's been there for months, no problem so far - it's only $30. I made sure the "horn" part was tilted down so it wouldn't collect water.
I've been thru PLENTY of rain and snow.
