Default A Little Engine Insurance

Hey, everyone.........here's a little something I thought you might want to know about. I just obtained and installed a neat little gadget from a longtime-in-the-business company a lot of you probably already know called Griot's Garage (see link for it below). It's called a "Metallic Shaving/Particle Retainer" and it's supposed to grab onto any metallic particles which might otherwise pass through your oil filter and, over time, screw up engine parts.

Course, there's at least one other item out there, a magnetized oil pan drain plug, which I've never tried, but I don't think it could be any better made or powerful than this Griot's product....it practically jumps out of your fingers and grabs onto the side of the filter. The PT Cruiser model ran $29.99 plus shipping.

Anyway, don't rush into anything; give it some thought, and.....Happy Cruising.

And one thing about Groits Garage is that once you buy from them you get a new catalog almost every week. I bought and installed their "Hella Horns" last spring on my 04GT. Love the horns and their catalog is interesting.

I bought their glass polish a few months ago and gotten three new catalogs since then. Got another one #208 in the mail today.
