Power Demon 2.0 Stage 2 (41TE for the PT), http://www.powerdemon.com/Dodge_Truck.html

Call IPT, http://www.importperformancetrans.co...rautofwd.shtml , and see if they have any 41TE performance transmissions.

Believe there are a few more out there and somebody will probably post those links.

Or you can wait until 2006 or 2007 model year and buy a new PT when the new 6 speed 62TE replaces the 41TE. Rumor is that there is a lot of retooling going on at the Kokomo plants right now just for the new transmissions (62TE and 68RFE). The new Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep transmissions are touted as a "very high-quality transmission". Can read more about it here:

Wow. I only hope the new transmission addresses the longevity problem with Chrysler autos.
Seems they would come out with a new manual, also - I mean wouldn't make sense to offer a 6-speed auto and only a 5-speed manual.
Not sure a 6-speed would be something I'd like - I already hate it when the auto kicks down up a hill - there'd be more of that....[:0]
