[V]Any Chrysler techs out there? The other day, I was removing the air intake temperature sensor and cable from the intake tube and I heard a crack. Upon investigation, I found that the cable connector socket had broken. The sensor still plugs in but the red lock tab doesnt latch it in tight. My question:
Can the connector on the end of the cable be replaced or must the whole cable be replaced? I assume the other end of the cable winds up plugged into the ECM but I cant trace it as it dissapears into a wrapped bundle of cables. The car has only about 500 miles on it so would this be under warranty or will I have to pay? How much? Or can I order and replace myself? I know this is a lot of questions, but I really want it to be right under the hood! TIA! |

i had a critter climb up and chew on my coil wires and also my MAP sensor wires. Luckily my friends at Bayshore Chrysler let me look through a box of assorted connectors and i found the ones i needed w/ 12" of wire on them so it was an easy repair.
The clips are available also but would need to be special ordered.
