Default Installing Injen Air Intake.. Quick question..

Good morning.

I'm putting an Injen Cold Air Intake system in my cruiser today. Just want to be sure on something.

The air temperature sensor attached the the hose on the original air intake system simply pulls out of the hose correct? There's nothing special about the way it's installed or removed.

Thanks.

Wyzard,

Yes, it just pulls out, but be careful. There's little nipple on the end of the connection that does the actual temperature sensing and if you break it off, a whole new connector and wiring harness has to be bought...it can't be fixed, so wiggle the connection out of the hole but use caution.

The Crewzin.. got it!!

Now another question. Do you have to trim the red sleeve that fits over it when putting it in the injen tube? The one that came with mine extends beyond the "lip" on the sensor and I can't get it in the hole.... Just want to be sure before I start messing around with anything.

Thanks.
