Yea, Out of the 230 photo's that the photographer shot, that's the one the NY Times picked out to run in the story.

Well, I don't go along with the "hot pic" but yes, they could have picked a better picture with more of the cruiser in it since that's what the story was about. The photographer took 230 pictures and that's the one the editors chose.

They (NYT) did pick a different picture to actually put in the paper of the Times which hit the streets. Along with other pictures of the cars and clubs that the story was about. I wasn't particularly happy about that picture, but here's the page that came out. The write-up was the same as the on-line version that I posted the link to.



The photographer mentioned something about me getting all the rest of the pictures he took on a disk but when I emailed him after the story was published he said they he usually sells them for $200. I haven't emailed him back since.
