New Ford Taurus Patrol Car

Nice, what's it got for power? Can't remember ever seeing a Taurus police car, at least around here in Oregon.

It has the 3.5Ltr 24 Valve V6 with 263hp plus Police package with upgraded radiator, bigger brakes, heavy duty suspension and dual exhaust.

We also received some Chargers that are running plain packages (no markings) with black mags.

The sheriffs dept where I live run the chargers and they look sweet there are a couple DARE cars that run our roads one is a killer looking hummer and the other is some kind of a BMW????

back to the taurus do you get to take it home at night????

For reals!!! The Chargers look sweet down here too! Man, they should totally have some Challengers tho'...ha! That would stop people from speeding cuz they'd be too busy trying to get a look at 'em!

Yep, they're still making the Taurus. This one is a 2009 model. No I don't get to take it home. I share it with three other officers.

This past weekend on my drive from IL to Michigan I saw that the Indiana State Patrol were pulling speeder over in black plain wrapper Mustang Fastbacks!
