Oh, another thing that might make me paint it: I'm in TX and a black box this size will be like an oven after 2 minutes in the sun. White would sure make the insides cooler.

Yup, I think painting it white will really look nice. By the way, the second time you put it on (further back) it also looks nicer.

I picked up a couple of cans of Krylon Fuion in Dover White last night at Wally World. Looking at the cap color, the paint should be a close match to the PT. I'll give the box a couple of coats when the weather cooperates but that looks to be about 2 weeks from now.
