No pics, but I have the stinger fiber glass cowl induction hood, and it ROCKS!

Ressurecting an old thread that touches on my general question rather than starting another....

I've read that the Keystone single port ram air hood will fit my '03 GT (http://www.keystonerestyling.com/ghd-pt1_2.htm). What I'm really after is if Keystone's companion box will fit in the '03 GT (http://www.keystonerestyling.com/airramnw3_2.htm). Or if it doesn't does the AIRAID box sit in a decent enough spot to make use of the air flow?

Just basing from the promo shots they look like they are sitting in the same spot more or less. Itchin' to dump the stock air box and haven't gotten an answer from Keystone yet.

I had the goodhood on my old PT and it was one of the greatest things on it. The only thing was that it didnt fir perfectly, you needed to shave or cut a peice of plastic to make it fit.

yep, I've heard of quite a few people doing this in the past on other cars. I guess it just depends on the flow limit of the filter?[:I]
I did that on my Omni a while back on the stock air box. I got out the old dremel and cut a circle on the bottom of the box. I screwed in a plastic shower drain from Home Depot underneath. The plastic shower drain was threaded so that you could easily attach dryer hose or some other such flexible hose and route it to a cold air source. I'm working on my intake this week, I might have to see if I can fit that mod in there again.

Shaved the Keystone air box, correct? I'm really into the single port though, nice subtle styling to it but still looks fairly mean. I saw a underside shot of the good hood (which of course I can't find now :/) that showed the port opening on the left side rather than the right. I'm confident the hood itself will fit - just wanted to use the matching box if possible provided I don't have to hack it to pieces to get it in.

I'm not opposed to finding work-arounds, though I think the dryer hosing would turn to soup after an afternoon of driving mate.
