higear4 - What's the name of your system. Like it better then the amx1397. What is the yellow tube coming of the chrome feed pipe running to in the engine. Cost of unit if you want to share it and how to get it. Thanks

There is a site you can go to and order your own pipes and connectors to make one. I will have to find it and post. It will be a lot less than $270 to make the kit. I am sure that is what these guys are doing anyway.

The intake is from the same person only a litte different setup. I paid 250 but I got the second one he made so he may have raised it due to the demand. The system is great and it really SUCKS!!!!

does the addition of a custom air intake eliminate the stock or even the K/N drop air filter you already have? next, is there a way I can use by cowl induction hood to better serve by engine/performance, heck I already have a huge hole in my hood scoop, thanks gear heads/ turbomangt

If you look @ the the pictures ...you'll see that this setup eliminates the stock airbox and therefore also your drop-in filter. If you opt for the turbo up setup it's gonna replace the ugly black hose that's the intake to the turbo. If you get the filter setup only it will fit inside the ugly black hose. Hope this helps explain ! As far as your cowl induction hood it's already helping your engine by eliminating the high temps from engine ops. However unless you fabricate custom ducting over to the intake it's not gonna enhance air flow to any air setup on the driver's fenderwell. If the air intake was placed on top of the engine ( as any "old" engine V8)then the cowl wouild enhance air intake flow.

here are a couple sites that have the connectors & stuff to make your own
http://www.turbohoses.com/index.html
http://www.turbopiping.com/pages/1/index.htm

seems easy enough.
