right on thanks alot man, does it really make that much of a difference? i think i may try it but first im changing my ic piping, my boost flaucuates way to much already. its weird its like the higher the rpms go the lower the boost goes. pisses me off.

Thats the PCM dropping your boost as you approach redline. With no mods, the boost is programmed to be in the 9PSI area by 6k.

will the map clamp fix the boost dropping at higher rpm? ihope so i just purchased a map clamp last night.

Not really, need a stronger wastegate and a boost controller. [?] The map clamp will just prevent the timing from being pulled and make you lean out a little. Just make sure you're not boosting too high on stock injectors or pcm otherwise you could get bad pinging and predetonation. Too much pinging and you will get a knock and the knock sensor will retard your timing and fuel delivery...making the map clamp useless. [xx(]

With the "Gheto" spring mod, I get constant 15PSI all the way to redline. stage 1 controls my boost. Also, The Manual trany PT have lower boost schedules than the automatic.
