I guess there is always the cheap way to do anything. Will this work without throwing codes on stage 0?

short answer is...NO. Any wastegate other than stock will make you throw codes unless you do the TIP mod, which i wouldn't. Better off just going stage 1.

IAN, dont U have stage 1 and that is maybe why you dont have a lot of error codes??

Stage 1 is mod friendly. But before I had S1 I had my Apexi and the spring mod and I never had a code pop up. But the reason was that I never went over 16PSI when I had it.
Overboost code shows up after 17PSI over three seconds. Ian
