Well. Once you start them spinning, you can spin them thru redline, bounce off the rev limiter, grab second gear and drive to the tire store for a new set of tires. On the easy side, if you dump the clutch at about 3 grand, they will spin for a long while, then you can get a good solid chirp when you grap second gear.

NO, not yet. Why go to redline/6000RPMs when D/C indicates maximum performance is achieved at no more than 5000 RPMs? I know, it's just plain fun! [8)][8D][8D][8)]

[8)]If it was not for the Rev limiter you would have to own a few sets of tires. The trick to spinning the tires is to "Short" Shift and pay attention to the Tach! If you are not squimish and are fast on the clutch this GT will spin tires in more than just a few gears.. The 5 speed will maintain it's RPM if you shift fast and dont hit the Rev Limit. This way you keep the Turbo spooled up and going ![8)]

Who says you need a 5-speed to spin the tires?

All you gotta do is load up the turbo and convertor and let 'er rip!

If I redline my 5-speed the engine will just cut out. I always try and keep one eye on the tach when I'm getting it on [8)]
