Thanks for the input..been busy, just now checking back in. The pinging is still there...tried ARCO premium. If I'm in drive, about 70, push it to pass, the old ball bearings in a coffee can sound!
So, it's back to the dealer. What do you guys think of the 24mpg with the 15,000 mile Mobil 1 ?

I would kill for 24 mpg in summer for mixed driving! I am getting about 18 in town and 22 in mixed and not more than 24 on highway and under 70 mph and that is boring!

New best with crappy summer az gas. 24mpg mixed city driving! I didn't think it was possible, but it sure is nice. i think the spark plugs and wires and clogged CAT had to do a lot with my old gas mileage of 12.6mpg mixed city. [xx(]

Well, I've been trying circle K and AM/PM gas for 2 tankfulls...less pinging. Or it could be our slightly cooler weather of late too(hey rest of the country! when it is only 102 here instead of 110 or 112...that's a cold snap!). So, I will wait until next trip for ordered repair parts to be installed...new w/washer nozzles to stop the dripping down the hood, and to get the rear bumper repainted...chipping around edges under the tail lights. Not taking a road trip this weekend(been going to Sierra Vista and back for the last 3 weeks).

Ya know, I've been wondering about the nozzles - I too have an '05 and began to notice this dribbling shortly after purchase... Noticed that other had mentioned it and was gonna take it in & complain, but hadn't had the time.

A little later, I noticed that unless I was very careful, I'd inadvertently graze the washer/wiper lever when turning - primarily at low speeds/parking, etc., when one needs to really crank the wheel around... Sure enough, dribbles... Since noticing this & avoiding the lever, I've not had a problem.

Might just be my big hands/long fingers though... [:I]

My nozzles(I just had this image of this thread in real conversation, being overheard by someone who hasn't a hoot what we're talking about...going home and telling the wife about 2 guys talking about their leaking nozzles...)anyway, I would go out at night, or after work and find stains down the hood towards the headlights. The dealership knew exactly what I was talking about.

oldfart, my nozzles have been leaking and loosing power for about 10 years but Dr. said it was more or less normal. Cant get it to flow uphill anymore. I had my back nozzle leak and the second time the dealer ordered the right parts and solved the problem. I think there was a Bulletin on the rears for my 2003 GT Turbo!

coolvanillagt, I had the same thing happen under my tail lights and they repainted my rear bumper last January. It was fine until this June and it happened again. What they decided was that the bumper is too tight against the quarter panel and the pressure is causing the paint to come off. They talked to Chrysler(The dealer body shop, all under warranty) and decided to order an entire new bumper that has been redesigned and it is no longer tight under the tail lights. They ordered it painted it and installed it and it looks beautiful. If you look on the 3rd page of my web site you can see in the 1st pic at the top how tight they fit together. If I can remember I'll go out today and get a pic of the new one and show you the diff. There is just enough room there now that it will not happen again. I'm a happy camper. Actually, it shows pretty well in my sig. pic how tight they fit. They don't anymore though.
