the miss is not there at wot or 3/4 throttle, its only present at low rpms like just giving it enough gas to maintain speed like at about 25mph or so. The car is running too lean i think at lower rpms causing the tach to bounce a little and have a miss. Probably going to get a dtec fuel computer and create new fuel maps.

Why don't you just read the coloring on the spark plugs?[:I]

My spark plugs used to be brown and burnt a lot when i was running really pig rich. I haven't checked them out lately since the install of the manifold. I do so much mixed driving though throughout the rpm band its hard to tell if i am running rich or lean now.

The PCM should correct for any lean/rich coditions within it's programming parameters, especially with stage 1. You should not be lean outside of parameters until the injector reaches 100% duty cylce. We should not even be close to that without extensive mods that would create a need for a lot more fuel flow. S1 does run leaner than stage 0 but those are the programmed parameters.

I also installed the plastic intake manifold and noticed better torque and better high rpm power. I think it's well worth the investment. However, my car runs much richer now, you can really smell it when at idle. Maybe that's because I have the Maxxfab downpipe w/o cat?

No problems with my plastic manifold. Threw a code the first time I started it, but that was my fault, had a sensor unplugged. Definite increase in topend, throatier sound, overall, a nice mod.

I installed the plastic intake at the same time I put in the S1 kit so all I feel right now is power. The only thing that I didn't like about the plastic intake is having to loosen it up in order to get to my second spark plug.

I don't understand why. [:I] The plastic manifold flows better, making the car run slighty leaner thus part of the power increase.

its not the manifold, its the downpipe and no cat. Guaranteed. [?]

Does the manifold come with all the "o" rings and gaskets needed for installation? (throttle body gasket, lower manifold to head, "o"rings between upper and lower manifold) Is there a noticable difference in performance in hot weather and stop and go driving conditions due to less heat soak? Is everyone having trouble removing #2 spark plug?
