Does the manifold come with all the "o" rings and gaskets needed for installation? (throttle body gasket, lower manifold to head, "o"rings between upper and lower manifold) Is there a noticable difference in performance in hot weather and stop and go driving conditions due to less heat soak? Is everyone having trouble removing #2 spark plug?
yes.
yes.
and yes.

I don't understand why. [:I] The plastic manifold flows better, making the car run slighty leaner thus part of the power increase.
The car wouldn't run leaner under normal conditions since the sensors are sampling data multiple times per second and the PCM is making decisions about AF ratio accordingly. This keeps it within programmed target AF. The only time it MIGHT be a little leaner is under WOT when the PCM is using a lookup table instead of sensor input for this. However WOT is purposely somewhat richer for this reason.

Yes, the bolts are very different, you will need all new bolts, i did not reuse a single one.

If you puchase the plastic manifold kit from Tommy at www.haynesspeedshop.com you get the proper bolts with the kit.

i think you're not supposed to use platinums? with a boosted engine for spark reasons. Something about spark blowout or sumtin. SuGamer where are you! Help me out here [|)]
