That's Jim Barnes' intake that replaces the airbox. I just ordered his turbo up intake. Can't wait!

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Everyone that has one of Jim's are satisfied with it. You should have marketed your product. I'm sure there would have been people on this forum that may have been interested.

not sour grapes, just a rip off artist. and why sell free information.i was generous to show him what i did, to help a feelow gt owner. and the shop i use, have recieved complaint calls, from people who are unhappy, but my shop just seels the parts.
i don;t think that is very good

gt ex, I think that you should take this up with Jim. The people that have purchased his intake including myself have no opinion as to your issue here. All I know is that mine fits well and it works for me.
You stated that the unit you designed was welded. Jim's intake is not welded so that makes the two different. I would rather have one with the hoses for flexibility reasons. If the rubber hoses were such a bad design than I am quite sure that Chrysler would not have used it on the stock set-up.
I'm not trying to get in a piss'n contest here with you, I just think you should have taken this up with Jim on a personal basis rather than this forum.

Mr. gt extreme, I am axm1397, iam in fla. I don't know u and the false information u are sending could cost u in court The air intake that i make was developed in july of 2002 by me and there is a patend pending on it, i do make them one at a time I am not a store. and i sell them to loyal pt cruiser owners for a price that is almost what they cost me to make if u would like to make a air intake and put it on the market, please do i wellcome the competition as you have never bought my air intake i don't think you have a leg to stand on. I guess some people have to bitch at something so you picked a air intake that u know nothing about. just as a juster Have a nice day and just incase u do have a pt happy cruising jim

I also have one of your turbo up intakes. It works as advertised, and I love it. I purchased a silicone 45 degree bend coupler and have inserted it thru the hole in the engine compartment. I have the intake tube piped into that silicone hose. The Intake works great Just as sold. It made an improvement in the performance, and as I have seen it written here before the sound of the turbo winding up is AWSOME !!! Jim, you are a pleasure to do business with and the product is certainly all that you have stated it to be. There is always someone looking to tear other people down, and I agree that he should not be using this forum for that purpose. If he feels so strongly he needs to put his money where his mouth is or SHUT UP!! I'm tired of reading his bull S#!T.
Thats my $ .02

Alan
