Thanks for the replys. I have had the Mopar vent plate in there along with Stage 1 for a while. This noise is much louder. I have nightmares of the turbo impeller walking sideways and contacting the turbo housing. That's pretty much how it sounds.
I have the stock airbox on at the moment and I'm not able to hear it but my hearing is not the best. My wife who can hear a mouse fart also says she doesn't hear it. But I didn't demonstrate the sound to her with the aftermarket parts on so she may not know which of the many "car noises" I'm asking her to notice for me. I wish I lived near others with the same modifications so I could compare. |
