Default Cold Air Intake

Whats the deal with this intake? Any good?

An open intake will actually hurt a turbo because of the engine heat. This is what the serious gearheads are doing.

The airbox mod, K&N filter and replacing the turbo to airbox pipe is the way to go.

Remember Mean Green, this forum does not like references to other informative forums that could appear to be a competitor, even though they may have information that is vey useful to all. This forum seem to get a bit testy about that kind of thing unless it is a place that they sponsor or authorize. So your link that you provided does not really go anywhere worthwhile.

For those that do not know, copy the link that Mean Green gave and replace 'cruise' with 'crew' and you will get the reference that he was so gracious to provide that does provide some good information for all PT people.
