Default prothame motor mount inserts

Has anyone tried the prothane motor mount inserts? They only list them for the srt-4, but they are the same motor mounts, right?

I used prothane mounts (partially) in my old neon. You could put all of the inserts in or some of them. Even with only 1/2 of the prothane mounts in, they are rock hard, once installed & you'll definitely feel increased drivetrain vibration. On the positive side, you'll get firmer shifts, less wheel hop, and more direct shifts (if a manual trans car).

I use the TrendZ urathane inserts in my car. I use 4 in each of the top and bottom mount. It puts A LOT of vibration into the cabin with them all filled. I don't mind it, but you might just try two in each and see how you like it. I have NO wheel hop, but I also have a Phantom Grip installed for limited slip traction which helps with the wheel hop. TIP: Freeze inserts before installing. Makes them easier to put in!

Yes, they are the same ones. They come in "street" or "race" version. One for the top mount and the other for the tranny mount. Also 2 big washers are supplied, so the inserts don't slip out.

I have the street version on my GT. The Vibration isn't that bad at all. Matter of fact, if I were to do it again, I get the race version to firm up things more.
