well from what i have heard from some was a custom computer (s2 program for a pt) and slicks got you to the low 13's. there was also mention of some port work like just gasket matching but what ever. oh and my pt with suporting mods has gone 13.1 off the spray and 12.3 on the spray.

I went to the track 2 weeks ago with my GT. I was running 15.1 the first 4 races/time trials. during one of the races (last one of the night because I broke out) I ran a 14.8 letting off the gas WELL before the finish, because i had the guy beat.
I was pretty pissed to find out that a guy who had a SRT at the track told me that he ran high 13's at another track (all hear-say). I have a stage one plus other simple mods and hearing this pissed me off......If you read what I have on my car and have similar mods and ran it at the track.....please let me know what your time/times where.

we'll always run slower than an SRT-4 mod for mod. We weigh more, and our aero sucks. Their 5 speed is geared differently than ours, or our autostick. They are high 13 second cars stock, with only the driver mod. What does it take us to get into the 13's? And you can bet, if you see an SRT-4 at the track, there is not a damn bit stock about it. Those skittle boys spend every penny they get, mainly because they are at a stage of life where they can do that. People who own PT's normally have a mortgage, life insurance, multiple car notes, families, pets, wives, etc.... Just can't dump the coin into a car when you have all that like you can when you're single and 19..... Moral of the story.....don't compare yourself to a comparably modded SRT-4, you'll always be disappointed....

Wow, never been called a skittle boy [?] I'm not the norm, though. I'm 55 and have the mortgage, car payments, etc, etc. I've got $3k+ into my SRT-4 now. My wife is great about my modding but keeps me grounded or we'd have a 10 second car and be living in a tent. I do get a bit jealous though, when I see how much money the younguns can put into their cars. Skittle boy, that's great. I'll have to tell my wife about that one.

Harry, when you going to get those parts installed in your ride?

Because the Neon came out in colors that were like the colors of the candy Skittles. I didn't take "skittle boy" as a dregogatory thing but EVO people, WRX people, ricers, etc. try to use that as a slam to the SRT-4. My favorite is "It's just a Neon". Damn, I do drive a Neon, but it's fast as he!!. [?]

Believe me, no degradation meant for the skittle boy remark. Hell, I don't get mad when they think my car is "teh gay". Anyway, I've been trying to find time to get all my good stuff installed, but I'm remodeling the apartment attached to our house, so my mothe rcan move in, and that's been taking all my time. Not only that, I'm getting to the point where I really need to address the exhaust, and just don't have money to do what I want right now. I may just go with a needswings cutout for now, and build my SEE later.....

Yeah, your interior is faster and your back windows are electric. [?]
