what the hell is this? the fast and the furious??? ITS NITROUS, NOT NOS!!!
the way I see it, EVERYONE has the opportunity to put nitrous on their car... if one chooses not to, and then gets blown away by every car that has it, I don't see how thats not fair. If he doesn't like it, he can just as easily install a nitrous kit on HIS OWN car. Whining about it does no good. Its there, if you use it, you have an edge.. if you don't its your loss. and nitrous doesnt make everything fast... My friends 02 neon only made it to 15.9 on a 75 shot of n2o... it ran mid 17's n/a. Yes, its a big improvement, but I don't see how that would be considered fast by any standards. Using nitrous on any rusted out econo-box won't make it run 12's, 13's, or probably even 14's. |

LOL wow this is an old thread!!
we'll i'll add my 2 cents. theres no point in 1/4 up at our altitude. Our track sits at 5500ft our DA (Density Altitude) sits around 8000 to 8600 ft through out the race season. Yes altitude affects turbos. Our hp adjustment for altitude is 1.2 which makes my wifes 245whp at sea level posted only 204whp in the high desert. so our 204 hp PT ran a 14.7 @ 94 last time out. which is why we roadrace and autocross
