Think I'm going to get the PT Cruiser AGP 3 Inch Intake. Is there any other intake with a 3 inch diameter intake? Most manufacturers don't say. Reason for this intake is I'm going to replace the stock turbo with something bigger and going with a 3 inch exhaust system.

With an open intake you'll suck hot air. On the dyno you'll gain 2-3 hp and lose double digit numbers of torque. If you are bound and determined to get an intake then get an Airade intake. At least they try to seal off the hot engine air. On my '03 GT I had a modified stock airbox and replaced the very restricting turbo to airbox hose.

Yep heat is a problem under the hood. What size are the pipes from the Airraid Intake? Hey is that AMX guy still making intakes?

I got a hold of Jim the AMX Intake guy and he says that he still makes a 3.0 inch intake that will fit both the stock air box and an Airaid Intake enclosure. Meangreen does your Airaid enclosure allow you to cut the weather strip along the enclosure to alow cold air in, or does it draw air in from the fender well?
