Default AIR INTAKE FROM AMX1397

I see there is a lot of talk about my intake. i have a day job, Maling the intake I do because I like it and with over 100 members in our club not all have mechanical hands. so I do a lot of their work for them, when I made the first intake July 2002, everyone that saw it wanted to know where I got it, told them I made it,withen a week I installed 3 more on cars in the club. I was ask at a out of town show if I could make more,This started the hole thing I am a Pt Cruiser owner just like all of you. I wanted a air intake for the turbo and no one made it so I made my own, I have made two types but now only the turbo up system only. A turbo shop assist and sell me most of the parts. my system works and sounds great the price is low as i can get it $270.00 + $20.00 shipping if some people don't know about things then they should keep quite, if anyone that has my intake and is unhappy then call me, then put it on the forum,
About the intake: it will be either polished or chrome it will have a 2 1/2" rubber elbow mounted to a 3" chrome or polished with a brace mounted under the clamp, mounted to the bolt on the computer, 2nd half will be the 3" elbow with the filter and the nose peice mounted on the front of the filter a 3" coupling holds the two peices together. the oil breather needs to be mounted to a small filter (see Phil) as he came up with this. the vent hose from the y next to the computer needs to connect to the intake. NOW YOU DON'T NEED MINE MAKE YOUR OWN. But if you would like to have me make it I would be glad to.I dont think the forum is a place to cut people if the product is no good then please say so. thank you for you time amx1397@aol.com

Jim,

Keep up what you are doing. It is people like you that get Ideas runing and if it works and if you have the time and money, go with the production. There will allways be people saying "I could have done it better" but then they don't do anything at all.

Keep up the good work and keep us informed of your progress.

Ian
