Default PTTuning straight thru axle-back exhaust for Turbo

http://pt-tuning.com/performanceParts/exhaust_AxleBackSingle.html
Anyone have this muffler? Wifey wants it so the Dreamer has more of a sporty sound. I think it fits the bill for us because it:
1) Is a single exhaust
2) Is stainless
3) Won't be horrendously noisy because the turbo muffles the exhaust
4) Is a reasonable price

Any thoughts on the quality of this unit/anyone have one?

that looks ok but $225 for an axle back.. if you are not going to do cat back I would just get a universal muffler.. you can get one for like $110 or something... or you can get a tunable one with a silencer in it for like $20-$30 more.. still way cheaper than the one you are looking at.. ADAM

Thats what I was thinking. Exhaust depot has some good mufflers for cheap right now, you might just want to get one and have a muffler shop weld it on for you.

First lets get this straight, this is just a muftler swap.

$225 is what you will pay for a polished Magnaflow muftler install, so the price is average for a quality muffler. Their system (I have their Dual Cat Back) is glass pack straight through resonators, and when they say loud, they mean it.
The Cat back system has another 3 foot resonator (straight through) and a LOT straighter piping without the "pinched down" sections or steep bends of the factory system.

Be prepared for LOUD if you only have the tail resonator.

ACtually if you go with one of my ss universal mufflers and let me know you from the forum when you order(under the notes section) Ill take $15 off the sale.

These mufflers are straight through designs so thats not to bad. Thats what you want on a turbo, you dont want baffles inside.

But I suggest you wait for the full exhaust I want to make. Hopefully I can make a dual setup wher eyou dont have to reposition the tire.

Hector, when do you think your exhaust will be ready? I will be getting ready to buy one in the next few months. Also, will you have different systems. What I am looking for is a single 3in. BTW, if you make a few prototypes, I would be happy to test it out for you

Yes I have thati n stock. The one i have slants up though and does not ocme out straight. I got shipment in this week from the manufacture who makes it for me to my specs. I might have the straight one in that shipment. It has no seams though like what you have there.

I have it in 2.25 (PT) and 2.5(GT)
