Final Installation of the APEX'i is complete and ready for the 13 sec barrier!!!!
![]() This is with 12 PSI in first gear, 16 PSI at 3500 RPM and 14 PSI at 5500. This was with the stock muffler and the lower Intake silencer removed and using the factory Airbox. The controller is conected to the ECU for monitoring purpose. What'd you go and do that fer?!? Now I'll have to go out and get me one of them thar APEX'i controllers. I don't know if'n I know how to hook it up, tho'. Dang, how much more am I gonna have to spend to keep up with you?[:I]
Really, though, GREAT RUN! [8D] I forgot, do you have the 5-speed or Autostick? Do you have your 60-foot time? What did you turn in the 1/8th? Will you come and hook mine up too? Where did you get yours and how much can I expect to pay for it? Any more questions I wanna ask? Hmmmm... I'm thinkin'! I'm sure to come up with more! ![]() ![]() Keep us posted!!

Nice install..one helluva sleeper you got there. Will you be doing the stage 1 upgrade? One can only imagine what even higher boost will bring. Get to the dyno ASAP! Keep us posted! BTW, a bone stock viper does just over 11 sec..watch out, here we come! |

that's a wicked time man[^]. What configuration were you running...ie. 5 speed? Rear seats out? Launch rpm? etc...dying to know this kinda stuff. A 14 sec pass is one hell of a run for just an EBC...serious props to you man...considering the SRT-4 is a 13.9 (fastest i've seen) and is considerably ligher

I love my EBC ![]() Yes, It is an autostick! and I am using it. I launched in A/S mode and let the computer shift for me at redline.[} ]I have learned from my previous mistakes, and I am now launching from idle and with traction control on. the Boost controller doesn't let the turbo spool up unless I am at over 30% trottle and it jumps to 14 PSI. It feels like an old 1967 V8 Mustang or Camaro big block! When the turbo spools up you get planted on the seat. I had my old school racing teacher on the car with me in one of my passes and he got amazed at the forward thrust. It made him think again about 4 CYL cars. [} ] He used to say that you could only get torque with a V8. He has changed his mind after yesterday.[?]The pass was with full interiors and the spare tire in the car! I can Now say that the car is with the SRT-4 Pack.[^] Ian
