Default 20lbs of boost and no eng lite

-------------------IF YOU HAVE A BOOST CONTROLLER------------------
--------------THIS WILL WORK--------------------------------------- on your throdle body to intercooler hose in the hard plastic part there is the air temp probe and the TURBO BOOST TO COMPUTER LINE.
With the auto stick, it works, disconnect the boost to computer line lay it aside u dont need to plug either side, if you are full throdle no eng lite and no bog you can turn your boost to whatever you want it i stoped at 20lbs of boost, in drive 1st,2nd,and half way through 3rd i was over 90 mph and let off NO ENG LITE the boost went to 20 at gearchange had droped to 14 and then back to 20, have way through 3 was running out of road and let off around 95 mph. as i was tooling around about 1/2 hour later, doing 30mph and went to pass a car without going full throdle the boost went to 20 and held then the bog came no eng lite just bog i was at 1/2 throdle and 20 lbs of boost, I will try this on the track soon, the only mod are an amx1397 air intake and a boost controller try this and let me know what you boost goes to and how the car did. jim

Jim you might want to turn it down a bit the engine was only rated for 16 lbs max!

yep....bye-bye motor VERY soon...you're gonna blow everything, possibly even seaze up the turbine b/c it's not meant to make that much boost. If you want that kinda of boost you are gonna need a bigger turbine. Even more concerning, DO YOU HAVE AN AIR-FUEL GAUGE??? At that kinda of boost on totally stock components you will be running dangerously LEAN!!

that motor is strong enough to run 20+ psi but you will need more fuel after 16psi. install a 5th injector and get a A/F gauge.

Another thread on the SRT-4 site mentioned that the stock pressure sensors were only rated to 18.5 psi, my guess is that beyond is uncintrolled max flow of fuel.

Question: What is the sound of a piston while the crown is being burnt off by lean fuel and high temps?

Answer: No difference until the end.

with out new fuel mapping, high flow injectors, and high flow fuel pump you are going to run very lean anywhere over 15 psi..you definitely need an air fuel gauge
