Timeless, I do not have them but I would think performance would be worse. Those pipes have some sharp bends and are very small in the bends. But for the look I think they are great.

I agree, the straighter the better with a turbo. Nothing beats the look though!!
I went mandrel bent custom 2.5 cat back borla muffler, oval tip.
Still not sure if i should have gone 3", but too late now!!

I want those protection bars for the sides instead!
The ones that dont bend out at thr rear tire...

Don which system were you looking at?

Rob,

The "bars" that don't bend are called "accent bars".

The ones that do bend are called "lake pipes"

Rob,

I went to the AutoTruckToys site to compare prices but you can't even find out how much they are when "The Store Is Closed". I took the picture from http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jht...410668&BQ=jcw2 so you might want to compare prices before you buy.

Aren't lake pipes non-functional?
Or do they make functional pipes too?

Guys - The polished Chrome Bars are call "nerf bars". Popular in the 50's. But be carful, the front bar doesn't fit the GT. Been wanting to get them for months but can't get the money and am waiting until they design the front to fit our Turbos. MOSS Motors have them and they are much less expensive the Autotrucktoys.
