Default Digital Boost Gauge

Looking real close at this gauge for the PT. Has anyone used/installed one? Ideally I would have liked a rectagular display to fit between the Trac and Defrost switches. I may try to disassemble and get the LED itself out of the round housing and fit in that spot. Also, has anyone investigated putting a gauge in the door, just above the speaker on the ledge there? It is 2 1/2 inches wide and should be able to fit a 2 1/16" gauge in there. Trying to stay away from the pods. A little hesitant to route a vac hose thru the door hinge area, that is why I like the digital since it uses a remote sending unit under the dash and simple wires to the gauge itself.

OV - I like the look of that one, can you post a link as to where you found it? Also the price, and any other info you might have. That would look real nice anywhere in the PT! The color matches the stock gauges.

Here's the website I found them at: http://www.dakotadigital.com/Detail....mber=ODYR-09-1 made by Dakota Digital. The gauge is $79.95 (Chrome or Black) and the sending unit is $58.95. Kinda expensive at $140 compared to a mechanical gauge but a fair price for an electronic. The PDF install guide is available there too and it looks real simple to install. Looking at the MMi racing DSBC for $89 also. $250 for the whole shebang!

Looks cool, but go mechanical - save some $$$ and get an EGT as well!
Especially if youre boosting above stock.
Also might be much easier to see on the A pillar....
IMO of course.

BTW isnt mechanical supposed to be more accurate??
