valve gasket

Hello everyone, I took my car to my mechanic for a coolant change, and while he was working on the car he told me the valve gasket needed to be replaced also the motor mount. He said oil was leaking from the gasket on to the mount and so it should be replaced. He said the motor was moving to hard when it shifts back and forth into gears. My car is an 03 gt auto with47,000 miles. Is this known to happen to our cars? Thanks in advance.

I would and did go with aftermarket motor mounts. You would be surprised at how soft the stock mm is. SRT-4 and PT upper and lower mm are interchangeable.
