Default 3" Turbo back exaust sytem is ready!

For the SRT-4 that is. I know i know, i got some of you guy excited and I must admit, it was wrong of me (some people I tell ya). But go sleazy on me. Uh i mean easy. [)]

Well here is the good news though. The downpipe should fit the GT with some modifications that I am doing. Right now I have my buddy Jim who post here and makes the intakes trying one on.

I will let you know how it comes out and will let you know when I post it for sale for you guys.

ANyways here is my exhaust. I missed it alot. My prototype was away for 3 months.

OK, I'll cut you some slack this time, ED, but only because you can make it fit the GT. I look forward to the GT announcement. Thanks, Dude. Keep up the good work.

That system looks "AWESOME", with a stage II it will be on everyone's Christmas list. (How in the world am I going to explain to my wife why I need a new exhaust when the one I have is only 6 months old?)

Please help someone who knows very little in the world of exhaust systems: Why Duals?

You know that speed bump by your house. Tell your wife that did it.

As fo the duals. Its an over kill for the car. But ths stock car has duals and you will have a void in yoru bumper that most srt owners dont want. I will be making a single too.

As an amateur, I just love the sound that the duals make, kind of like a two note symphony as opposed to a single note. It may not be performance, but don't change it.

I suppose that if I save the $$ I would have spent on the Konis I'm half way there.

Actually, that sound clip you hear on my site is my prototype. It had duals on it but only one was fucctional. Right now it sounds even deeper and meaner with both working.

Quite simple, they L[8D][8D]K better than a single tip from the rear.

I am wondering about the "Engineering Article" posted in this forum about efficient Turbo exhaust systems. The author mentions that the connection right at the turbocharger exhaust exit to the exhaust system might have an enhansed flow with a gradual increase in size much like a trumpet horn.....could this design feature make an awesome exhaust system even more efficient (Hi Tech tricks)....a hyperflow turbo connection on the 3" Super System?

I wonder if even a short 4" bulge "expansion area" like on 2cycle bikes might give the turbo better boost?

Hey Hector,

What happened to Jim's try of the downpipe? If it fit, what are the next steps in getting a 3" turbo back system with a hi-flow cat? I'll put up a deposit $$ right now if you make it happen.
