Default PVO PT and DTsGT

Guys,

You seem to have the most up to date info on the Stage I kit, and were(acording to posts)the first to have and install the kits both manual and autostick.

Do you have some connection to Mopar (inside track)?

You have no info on where you are located in the country.

What ever happened to and why, all those PVO PT posts with technical info on the 2004 PT Turbo were erased by PVO PT?

I do not have Stage I, nor have I ordered it (yet). If I gave the impression that I've ordered / installed it, I apologize, but I know I never said that I had it. As a matter of fact, I'm waiting for UniqTwin to update us all on the "changes" that were supposedly happening "Real Soon Now" before I revisit my decision not to install. It's killing me because a Mopar rep. said the Autostick PT Turbos are the vehicles getting the most bang from this upgrade.

My info basically comes from postings on various forums (here, other PT forums and srtforums) by Mopar reps. or people who have installed Stage I on either the PT or SRT-4.

I have no inside connection, but there have been leaks of information in public forums (like PVO's posts here, and someone on the SRT forum published a spreadsheet of all the upcoming Mopar mods and release dates).

I'd like to know why PVO wiped his posts as well, but I'd bet he was told by his insider connection (he did have a pre-production Stage I after all) to remove his posts.

Thanks for the reply. I dearly hope that something can be worked out for us California folks. There is nothing I would rather do than share information back and forth on how great the upgrade kits are (from an owner's point of view).

Not uncommon that an employer would tell an employee to do this.

I was just re-reading the last post by PVO PT, something like: you all must be scared to unleash all that horsepower in your PT by buying the Stage I kit.

I find it interesting that he has NEVER ANSWERED THE QUESTION of the erased posts.

I don't know the deal with PVO's posts.

Something I did find interesting was a post on the SRT-4 forum where the poster said that his PCM didn't have the VIN number put in it when it arrived. He said it was lucky that he worked for the dealership, and was able to flash it himself.

Now, I am no rocket scientist by any means. I can simply judge the validity of his comments by the facts that UniqTwin says they are the only ones with the gear to flash the PCM, Mopar Performance Tech support (as of this AM) states that no dealer is capable of flashing the new PCM. My local dealer says they don't have the gear to talk to a OBDIII PCM like used in the stage I upgrade, and don't anticipate it's release to the dealer level until around December of this year.

Ayn Rand always said "Check your premises; contradictions can't exist.

Something smells funny here... While it is possible that every statement is true, somewhere out there is a pretty interesting explanation as to why no one in the loop seems to know who is on first.

Kirby,
If you are going to quote me , at least do it word for word. this is what you were refering to.

"If I havent convinced you yet to just go get one you must be a wus or scared that you might enjoy your PT even more than you do now."

-Do you have some connection to Mopar (inside track)?

No I ordered it from the dealer. I placed my order for the S1 before I took delivery of my PT.

-You have no info on where you are located in the country.
Do you want to give me a hug or something?? I live close to the MOPAR distribution warehouse. Is that OK?

-What ever happened to and why, all those PVO PT posts with technical info on the 2004 PT Turbo were erased by PVO PT?

All the "tech. info" is readily avaible to anyone. you just got to know where to find it on the web.

It seems like most of your posts that are on the PT and SRT fourms are negitive. The MOPAR bashing has to stop. The S1 is a option to buy. If you cant handle the power dont buy it. Its that simple. But I like it and have had NO problems with S1. MOPAR has everything under controll. They have done extensive testing to make sure that the customer (us) get the best product for the money. Have faith in MOPAR, they are the GOOD GUYS!

Still never answered the first question.... why erase all those messages.
I'd also like to know where you just stumbled upon all those 2004 part numbers and specs.
No I don't want a hug, just a little honesty.
Where you live would tell me a lot: altitude, humidity, temperatures, all those things that effect how your car runs. It puts your experience in perspective with, say someone in Denver(dry and a mile high)versus New Orleans (sea level, hot and humid).

Like I said...You have to know where to look. do your own homework. Dont have daddy do it for you.

The ? everyone wants answered. Its kind of embarising, If you want to know I got in a fight w/ girlfriend while I was posting, went to bathroom and to fix friends car, she gets mad that I " don't spend time and pay attention" to her. so she erased my posts and some other stuff.. OK Happy?
