Many people believe the WIX or same thing NAPA gold filters are the best filters for a reasonable price with Purolator second choice. I use a Motorcraft FL400s on my Turbo because I already have them around the house for my Taurus and Focus. They are a low cost version of the uplevel Purolator filter. They sell cheap at my local Walmart and are interchangeable in size. I use 5w-30 Mobil 1 oil
