I have heard that amongst ALL the changes that have taken place with the new Stage I ECM, none of the changes were connected with air fuel ratios.
This would mean that passing California Smog should be a slam dunk.
the issue here is finding owners that will test their cars in California. Mopar might just be able to get a pass for 50 state if they pass California's tougher test.
If you have a kit installed, do us all a great favor, test and get back with the numbers.
This could be huge for Mopar to get this kit into MANY more hands!!!

Alright Kirby, I'm in So Cal if I ordered the kit would you be willing to help me install the kit. I can change oil and all that other basic stuff but I don't have the tools or the guts to take this on myself without someone on hand who is more knowledgeable than basic auto mechanics like me.

Give me a definite yes or no, I'll order the kit right now. I don't know how long it will take to get here since I have an autostick. But I'll be the Cali guinea pig.

Oh Yeah! Bring it over to my house! Got the air tools, jacks, pretty much got what we would need. Kirby can come too! Lets have a Stage 1 party! Sounds like a pretty easy install.

Alright then, lets do this. I got my quote from tthrift for the auto stick.

BTW to answer Kirby's questions in rockcruisers post:

auto stick is $30 higher
he will ship anywhere
he does not acceppt credit cards money orders only

So I'll contact tthrift put my order in and wait for the kit, I'll be in contact with you Cal Cruzer and Kirby when the kit comes in.
