Has anyone out there been able to find a good performance
plug. Can't stand Champions, they are junk and always will be. Phil |

Phil -
Bad News - nothing else fits! Not NGK, not Denso. [xx(] I'm currently running Champion Double Platinum #7440 plugs and they seem to be fine. Sorry. [:I]

I couldn't find anything else to fit either. I am running the champion single platinum plugs gapped @ .042. Seems to be running fine, but I have found that the gap must be below .045 in order to eliminate High RPM Miss. BTW I went 1 heat range colder than stock to insure that detonation is not a problem. Runs fine, real strong even at 14 lbs stage 2 boost no miss or studder. The champion# that I am using is 3032 Plug code RE10PBC5. A little anti-sieze & dielectric grease will go a long way in making plug maintenance go much easier. I never really believed that until I got the turbo car.

Thanks guys, appreciate the info. Still a bummer though!
You would have thought someone would come out with something by now. Do you know what plug the SRT-4's are running? Are they the same type plug? Where's Hector when you need him? Phil |

Here are some spark plugs that were posted at PTE. Haven't heard of anybody purchasing any yet (probably because of the price).:

SCI-FI thanks for the lead on the plugs. I will contact them,

Sci-Fi, I contacted Club Plug and made an inquiry concerning
NGK's for the GT. Frank Vessella from CP said there are no NGK's made for the GT. He did say that NGK is aware of the shortage of plug types for our cars. He also said that NGK has something they are working on. Hopefully we will have a premium plug for our cars in the near future. Phil |
