Default Carlisle trip

Well first the bad news...I didn't dyno my cruiser . However I traveled down with Phatdad each in our own cruisers connected via frs . We left our town @3:45 am and got to Carlisle fairgrounds slightly before 7 am. Phatdad's cruiser is a BStockum built Hayn equipped turbo motor . He's running about 12 psi boost also . We had a blast ....rollons,short high speed bursts you name it . It's 209 miles one way and I got 26.84 mpg filling up before the return trip ! I think that's pretty damn good considering the speeds we were running ,plus I was hauling 4 extra wheels and tires . Phatdad's cruiser is the black with shade shift flames ,POH hood and gold wheels in Jody's pics...an awesome '01 cruiser !

Hey Flashbk2, it was great meeting you and Phatdad. Hope you guys had a good drive back!

We had been talking about the paint you used for your brake calipers, but I don't remember what you told me you used. Could you please let me know? Thanks!

Biebs

Also, does anyone know where we can go to see who the winners of the different categories at the show were? I'd think that they'd list them somewhere....

Yobiebs paint used on calipers was plasti-kote high temp hp-16 blue and then plasti-kote engine enamel clear no.229 . I got it @ advance auto . The trip back was fun but I filled up with exxon and only got 20.95 mpg on return trip...that's why I like to stick with Sunoco cuz car had to be @ least 200lbs lighter on return trip. Alan said he was maybe gonna do Cruise the Glen are you ? That's only a sixty mile trip and if the weathers good I'll be there Saturday . If you do that'll be great it only 2 weeks away and we could bs again !

Unfortunately, I'm going to be away the weekend of Cruisin' the Glen. Thanks for the info on the paint. I'm make sure to send you some pics once they're done!!!

You NY guys should think about coming down for the Shore thing in September, though!
