hey i was wondering if anyone knows how to take off the governor of the turbo pt or what computer i need to do so. So can anyone help me to get rid of that code p1188 because i heard if i get a piggyback computer it will get rid of that certain code.

What code is that? overboost?
I think the only thing you can do to up the rev limiter is get your PCM flashed by SCT. No other piggyback will do that, that I know of

check all of your vacuum lines and hoses first. If all are on, could be your surge solenoid went bad. or perhaps a bad wastegate.

its not the wastegate it opens fine how do i check or where do i go to get a surge solenoid and how much are they and will that take off the code

the surge solenoid is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. you will see a set of three solenoids on the fenderwell. the surge solenoid is the one located in the center of the three. check to see if the hose connections are tight as well as the electrical connector. the ones next to it are the wastegate solenoid and throttle inlet pressure solenoid which may also be your problem. the dealer would be the only source for a replacement at this point. to remove the code you would have to either hook up a scan tool and erase the DTC, or simply remove the negative battery terminal for approximately 5 minutes, then reconnect.

i've done that already and took it to adivance so they can take the cod off it goes off but why i floor it it comes back

What he said,,,, I speak from experience. Rev limit now 7k, MPH limit now 150

so what do i need so i can run at 150mph and boost 15 psi"s safely?
help ASAP
