Installed P/N 300-138 Airaid systems an hour ago.
System is terrific. I do not think you should consider any other system now on the market. Incidently, Airaid retains the use of the bottom part of the GT intake.
This means you can use the feature of getting cold air from the fender well, with out hot air getting into the intake system. I painted the bottom section and the Airaid system with body color paint. I also left in the fender silencer but filled the holes of the silencer. I also cut off about three inches of the tubing inside the box. The good part is, the systems fits right against the hood but.......... they left about a eight opening next to the hood. If you now cut, which I did immediately, you also have a ram air input from the side of the hood. I cut the trim to match the angle of the hood. You also get extra decals ( for painting ) Paint 2.4 L on intake manifold with touch up paint while your at it. Happy Boosting!

fifilund...is the pipe that goes down to the turbo replaced with the system or does it just connect to the stock pipe?

Everything on the lower box to the turbo is stock.

Sorry, I have no way to take and post pictures, you'll have to wait for somone else. I think there well be plenty of inputs when the word gets around! This system sticks well above battery level and will be great for auto shows. It stands out! The ptdoityourself.net are helpfull but if you do not paint it, it will takes 1/2 hour maximum to install.

Was browsing ebay and found an Airraid that fit the GT. Questioned it and emailed the seller. Turned out to be Revel Enterprises. Price is awesome. Would like to know if anyone has ordered it yet (I think Im going to have to...my hood is lonely)

Mine arrived today. Guess I'll install tomorrow. Looks great w/ nice quality fabricated metal heat shield and weatherstripping.

The Airaid system is quiet inside the car. I can't notice any sound difference unless I hit heavy boost since it is a sealed system. But standing next to car and flipping trottle you hear the turbo wind up like a grand Prix car. Starting at a light and medium trottle with windows down, radio off and A/C off you hear the Turbo wind up big time but only from the outside of car. That is what a car next to you will hear! Heh-Heh. Love it![?] The GT doesn't hesitate when I take off from a light any more. Cries for more trottle.[8)] Oh-Oh!

The Airaid website doesn't even list the product for a turbo yet. http://www.airaid.com/
They do have an iteresting intake tube for other cars that looks like it might work to replace the turbo up tube to the air cleaner. It does not specify our car for application but it looks about right. I have emailed them about a possible application.

http://www.ptdoityourself.net/ptairaidguide.html Pictures click here. Click on pictures to enlarge. (especially picture 10) GT doesn't stumble anymore (low speed constant 20 mph) due to South Florida heat. The Gt drives totally different now.

I used the box and shortened the intake tube to work.
