Default Talked to the guys at AGP !!!

I've been in contact with the guys at AGP Turbo for the past while, in regards to my turbo upgrade project. GOOD NEWS!!! They've informed me that they are currently developing a serious upgrade for the SRT-4, BUT even better the kit WILL be adjusted for use on the GT cruiser and should be out relatively soon.
Now if mopar is still gonna go along with the "screw you" attitude on warranty, I'm gonna say "screw you" right back to their Stage II/III and go with AGP.

The questionwill be if they canmake it work with the computer. Most Aftermarket companies do not have the ability to reprogram OE computers to adjust for their mods.
interesting though.

The computer WILL be the only problem they will run into. Its pretty complicated and if they dont have a "inside" source, I dont no what they will do. But I am Extreamly interested in it tho. I dont think Mopar will have a S3 for the PT. I think it is for the SRT only

[:I]Well from one that had a supercharger on my 2001 I can tell you that with out codes ... Which you can not buy, beg or steal from DC.. You will only blow up the car or burn up your $$$$. I did both! So off it all came! and now with a stock 2001 and a 2003 GT turbo my wallet likes me better. Just need my Stage I.. and Stage II I will be happy !

Well, there are ways around it, like custom computers by Accell for the fuel, spark, etc., but then you are basicaly bypassing the factory stuff and it would never pass smog tests. There was a company that was making a system that worked well on the Dakota R/Ts, but it was big $$$.You could adjust the computer with a parallell port to a laptop.

Basically, for ease of install, inspections, etc, the factory is the only one that will provide it.

PVO - What will the stage III boost the output to on the SRT-4, and why not on the PT, and when? Still on track for the Winter release for Stage II ?

I think the S3 will not be on the PT is because the trans is diff. from the SRT. Thats all I know. I think That the S2 is still on track. Those guys at PVO know there stuff. If it takes longer dont worry, they are just trying to make it the best bang for your buck.

that's what i've "heard" as well PVO. The numbers that are falling down the grape vine are 300hp or more!! The tranny and ECU are definitely the main differences between the GT and SRT-4. I wish our ECUs were as tunable as the VW 1.8T's, then we'd have serious tuning potential. I think this prob will create the glass ceiling of horse power. Afterall, there is only so much one can do with out taping into the ECU...

I agree PVO, the 1.8T is one hell of a platform for modding... three little letters: A.....P....R.
Off topic...did you have an AWP or AWD engine?? I actually had a 337.
