Mopar BOV and possible Boost leak
Hey guys I got a quick one for ya
I installed an CAI and mopar BOV. I think I now have a boost leak. When the turbo spools I can hear it almost escaping from the BOV. Also when it spools it feels like it's not even doing anything. Could this be a boost leak? Thank you, _matt

yes, a lot of guys get leaks there for various reasons. The 'bitch bolt" that you can't really get to makes it hard to torque the plate properly. Some have found that the plate they got was not entirely flat.
If you think you have a problem I would try a little gasket seal to the plate and retorque it. You might want to do a leak test on the intake and see if there is a problem first.

Is the bov on there correctly? Because of leaking people on the forums have been saying to use gasket sealer practically from day one.

Well I was going to remove it and sent it back to get my money back. How would I preform a leak test on my intake?
