What to do first?
Hey everyone i'm another new guy and the proud new owner of a 06 H.O. GT convertible. Ive been reading a lot of threads trying to learn as much as I can about the car, especially the turbo. I'm very interested in adding new performance upgrades but i want to do it the right way. This is the first car i've owned with a turbo and i have no idea where to start. MY pt only has 7k on it and as of this moment, completely stock. What turbo upgrades should i start with first? dual stage boost controller? new wga? or straight to stage 1? I sincerely appreciate any advice....Thanks!

You best "bang for the buck" is Stage 1.
For some excellent turbo advice, www.PTCrew is your place. Put Mobil1 in that engine, and don't punch it in 4th! (tranny is weak)

Stage 1 is a safe upgrade. If you are going to up the boost beyond that you need a boost gauge to see where you are at or you could blow your motor.

stage 1 is first on the agenda then.... and i actually already put in a boost gauge i just forgot to add the piece of information

What to do first,, burn your wallet,, you won't need it anymore,, why carry around a dead cow if you have nothing to put in it,, then inform the kids they will have to pay for their own education,,, and prepare for a unhappy spouse.
OR Stay stock. I started with "I want to run 13.99,, now I want to run 11.51, (once you go 11.49 you need a cage, I ain't putting no cage in my car) Tom

Stage 1 is a real kick upward. I like duel pipes even though they don't help very much, but I think they look cool. Mobel 1 oil is real good stuff.

What did you do to get your PT up to that kind of speed in the 1/4? And what do tell was the cost?

I would recomend upgrading your intake with an amx unit and a drop in K&N then going with a stage 1 and exhaust. Thats my two cents those will probly be the most affective at that point.
