Thanks for all the info!!

I will have to look into the Check Valve.

I have a Stage 1 PCM in the works. Any other cheap but efficient mods you can think of that I can do to the car?

another thing the S1 PCM is good for is getting rid of the CEL for when you run a down pipe (cat delete) so the car doesnt go into limp mode.
the SRT-4s like throwing CELs and the S1 PCM fixed it.

make sure you get a 3in 02 housing with the downpipe

the cruiser motor mounts are the same as the SRT-4 so you could buy Motor Mount inserts and that will stop any wheel hop if theres any and help put more power to the ground. a really good investment and then you could
go back to the Bwoody site and get the trans mount.

if you havent already done plugs and wires go with NGK 4306 and gap them to around 32 and get some 8.5-10mm wires and that will improve engine responce

you could also get a dremil tool and port you throttle body yourself and that will help your throttle responce. saves you from buying a bigger throttle body.

Yeah, I know I need to get better plugs/wires.

I went to the BWoody site and looked at the check valve. It said it is for a SRT-4 Neon. Will it still fit the PT?

I have been out of the turbo game for a while so I am playing catch-up. (had a 1986 Daytona Turbo Z several years ago)

I have been throwing around the idea of getting a turbo kit for my daily driver SOHC Neon for about a year now, and now that I have the DC3 and started tinkering with it, I REALLY want to turbo the Neon.

yup the stuff i have on my wifes car came off my car or were spares i had.

but when you install the check valve replace the plastic line with rubber 3/8 fuel line. it makes a snug fit.

Does the check valve replace or just get installed close to the PCV valve?

Sorry for all the stupid questions. Like I said I haven't had a turboed car for several years. I had my Daytona turbo before turbo's were "cool"

Once I get my S1 installed and get my A-pillar gauge pod ordered so I can install my SRT Autometer boost gauge, (also looking at a air/fuel gauge) would upgradeing the wastegate actuator give me much more power? I know it will let me produce more lbs of boost and stay in boost longer if I change the wga. Should I run a boost controller if I change the wga?

there is no such thing as a stupid question...

if you upgrade the WGA you need to get bigger injectors and a Wide band O2
if you run too much boost you'll run lean and the gauge will help you manage you car. you wanna keep an A/F of around 12-12.5

a good WGA to use is an AGP or an S2
the S2 you will have let it stay on PCM control
the AGP you will have to take it off PCM control in otherwords by pass some selionds

the stock turbo loses its efficiecy at over 22 psi but the stock turbo is too small and wont hold more than 11-13 psi at redline a good goal is to get the car to hold 15 psi till about 5200 thats were the HP and TQ cross
then you can add a BC and turn it up more, the BC is just for spike it wont hold boost for long but it will allow you to jump hard on others.

Well, I put some of the copper rtv on the gasket for the BOV yesterday. I just took the car out for a spin and it is back to wanting to spin the tires in 2nd gear when the boost kicks in, but it still doesn't feel as strong as it used to. I guess I am just getting used to the power?

I still can't wait to get my S1 PCM in the car!!!!
