I've been looking for Hurst info for a long time now[xx(]. Once one hits the market, I'll be buying.

Drop me a line when someone knows something for sure.[^]

If everyone would go the the Hurst website and inquire about a shifter for the PT GT it would help. When I calle them several months ago I was told that they are working on it but there hasn't been much demand. We need to make ourselves heard. I just emailed them again from the "ask tech" link.

Okay I just got a response back from Hurst on this. Now they are saying 6-8 months for a GT shifter.

[8)]Mopar Performance is working on one for the Turbo PT. No modifications, just bolt it in and happy shifting. Don't know exactly when it will be out.

Am I totally nuts or is this one simply garbage? I can't tell if this would fit the Cruiser.
On the description page it shows it is for 1995-1999 Dodge and Plymouth Neons - but the index page is for Cruisers.

Do not buy this. I did and it does not work on the GT. They were good enogh to give me a full refund. It was a great idea though and works on standard PT's.

Well I just made my 5-speed shifts better than before by adding "booger-bushings" to tranny and shifter > I have B&M sport shifter with these bushings and it's now just click, click into gear! Very happy with this low -priced mod !

I spoke with someone at Mopar Tech yesterday and they have a prototype of the new Mopar Performance catalog which includes a Hurst short-throw shifter for the 5-speed PT Turbo. The date of availability is unsure for both the shifter and the catalog. BTW, I have a used Hurst 5-speed short-throw shifter kit available for the standard PT listed in the Classified section of this forum.
