Default removing cat

can anyone offer any advise on removing the cat. Will it give any check engine lights or other problems, with the o/2 sensors.
do you think its a good idea or leave it alone? thanks for any input

it will set the check eng. light off. i don't know what long term damage this may cause. my suggestion is to leave the cat. in the car. you can get a 3" downpipe with high flow cat. i have one on my car now that i have been testing.

at first only a little bc the 3" downpipe has to bottle neck down to the stock size pipe before the resonator. i will be going to the exhaust shop soon and having the last pc of the downpipe were it
bottle necks down cut off, so it is 3" in size and then welding a pc of 3" pipe all the way back to the tail pipe section. i have been working with Hector from Exhaust Depot on this project of his, and he feels that the full lenth of 3" pipe will be more noticable in hp. i will post when i have this done.

i am with out my gt this week bc i am having my gauges and turbo timer installed, so i have to drive the grand cherokee
