Welcome to the forum.

You just bought the GT and your going to pull it apart? Why?

Shouldn't you get a hold of the service manual or at least the Haynes manual before pulling things out?

Anyway, if you look at the front of a turbocharged PT and a non-turbo cruiser, you see that the lower egg crate grill below the bumper is larger on the Turbo model. That's to let more air flow into the intercooler. That's where you'll find it, in the front below the radiator.

I don't think you'll need an after-market intercooler as nobody is complaining about the OEM one, even the guys who are pulling close to 300 hp out of their cruiser.

The biggest bang for your buck is Chrysler's own Stage 1. On your year it comes with a reprogrammed computer and upgraded fuel injectors.

that sir is incorrect. my intercooler design is 1.5 inches thicker, and is a direct fit replacement.
