How do you know if your clutch needs to be replaced? does it show wear like with brakes, getting soft? I never read any posts about your clutch?????

Try cruising along at 30 mph in 3rd gear and then punch it. If your clutch is slipping you'll hear the motor rev without going anywhere for a second or two. That's slippage.

On my "Limited", I began by having trouble shifting between 1st and 2nd. It was probably the slave cylinder that disengages the clutch plate.
**But, that replacement is now one complete assembly. Mine was at 24K!
