There might be 1 or 2 that sort of made their own but what are your intentions? Do you want one that looks good, sounds good or works the best? For one that works the best meaning it lets only cool air in at a slightly higher flow than stock then a modified stock system is best for the turbo.

To change the turbo to air box pipe

If you mean the chrome pipe from the throttle body to and open air filter, that will give you a lot of sound but also draw in warm air from the engine. It looks good (depending on what system you buy) and if your not into squeezing every bit of HP out of your Turbo, there's loads of air box pipes out there for sale.
Here's a link that discusses some of the options: DIY Air Box mods

CREWZIN is correct, you really don't want to go to an open intake with a turbo unless you don't care about losing some torque. If you care then I'd go with the modified airbox, a K&N drop in filter and replacing the turbo to airbox pipe. You can either make your own pipe or purchase it.

You'll need one of these 3" reduced to 2 1/2" #ASRE90-X. Silicone Reducing Elbow - 90 degrees and one of these 3" X 3" couplers #ASCSH3-X. Silicone Straight Hose - 3 inch length For the 3" pipe you could use some 3" exhaust pipe and paint it the color of your choice. You will need to add a nipple to the pipe for a vacuum hose. For the nipple you could use a rubber valve core to attach the vacuum hose to. Cut a hole in the pipe and slip the valve core through the hole.
